Doughnut Muffins

We all love a good doughnut. Of course, nothing takes the cake (or doughnut?) as much as an actual, legitimate fried one, with a hole in the middle. If you're looking for something just a little less sinful than that, and something just as convenient to hold and eat, here's your answer.
Doughnut muffins are the epitome of 'don't judge a muffin by its outer appearance'. They look utterly basic, but if you close your eyes, its taste is almost scarily comparable to a doughnut's.
Savoury, sweet- that's truly very neat. Eat it warm, and you'll be warm inside too.
